THE CLIQUE FANFIC CHAPTER TWO
CHAPTER TWO
OCTAVIAN COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL
9:05 am, Monday, January 20th
Claire Lyons ambushed Layne Abeley on Layne's way out of Spanish.
"Ehmagawsh, Layne, happy birthday!" She hugged her friend. "Who's coming to your party?"
"Cara, Syd, and you of course." Layne blushed. "I invited Dempsey too."
"Really, Layne?" Claire giggle-rolled her eyes. "What did he sayyyy?"
"He agreed!" Layne squeal-giggled. Then she lowered her voice and whispered, "Are you and Block on good terms again?"
Claire shrugged. "We're oh-kay." She mumbled. Massie and her were on fair terms, trying to be friends again, but constantly Claire wondered if she should have never joined the PC in the first place....
Claire frowned.
Layne's eyes sparked knowingly. Then she hugged Claire fiercely. "You'll always have me," she whisper-promised.

Massie Block: Is in luh-v with Landon Crane. Hasn't exactly gone to second base yet, but plans to. But Kuh-laire is being a pain in Bark Obama's butt. Can Massie resolve things with Claire, at the same time juggling a relationship with Landon and keeping the Pretty Committee together?
Alicia Rivera: Her ninth-grade crush is ah-dorable. But Josh Hotz isn't exactly happy with Leesh ditching him, and will do anything to win her back.
Dylan Marvil: Is being stalked by Derrington. Somebody, help. She will NEVER get time alone with her new crush.
Kristen Gregory: Luh-vs her ninth grade crush too. But can Dempsey stop acting like they're still together??
Claire Lyons: Wants to be friends with Cara, Syd, and Layne as well as the Pretty Committee. But Massie won't let it happen. Will Claire and Massie have another war?

How could they forget about me?
Okay.
I participate in a statewide competition called Power of the Pen. I won second place in districts on January 23rd at the Summit Country Day school, so I was like, yay!
But...IT IS NOWHERE ONLINE EXCEPT FOR HERE! NOTHING SAYS, "ALLISON (last name censored) WON SECOND PLACE AT SUMMIT AND IS GOING TO REGIONALS ALONG WITH HER TEAM MEMBERS!"
Like, ehmagawd! What is the justice in that?!
But anyway, I won, yeah. The regionals are on March 13th. I can't wait! Hopefully I win a trophy there too!

PS: I'd like to give some recgonition to my friends Katie and Kathryn. Katie got 7th-or-8th overall and Kathryn got, like, 12th. They both made the top 15!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. School has been merciless, oh my God. T-T

THE BLOCK ESTATE
MASSIE'S BEDROOM
6:35 am, Monday, January 20th
Massie Block blinked open her amber eyes blearily. Ehmagawd. She thought suddenly. It's January 20th. Layme Abeley's birthday.
The alpha sighed. She'd become less lienent with her rules. And technically, she'd allowed Layne into the Pretty Committee.
All Claire's fault, she told herself. Nawt mine. Nevv.
Her iPhone cried out to her. Hola, chica! Hola, chica!
Alicia. Massie struggled up in her king-sized bed and flung away her silky sheets, grabbing her white iPhone off her Victorian-styled nightstand.
One text message, her iPhone told her.
Massie checked.
Alicia: It's Layne's b-day, what did you get 4 her??
Massie: I 4gawt. I hope there's like a snowday or something.
Burrrrrp! Dylan Marvil's ringtone emitted from her iPhone.
Dylan: its layne's bday mass. what should i buy 4 her? i ttly 4gawt!
Gummi Bears, Gummi Bears, Claire Lyonses' whiny voice moaned from her phone.
Claire: whaddaya get for layne mass?
Hola, chica! Hola, chica! Alicia's reply came back too. Then Kristen Gregory's text came through. Socc-Her, Socc-Her.
Kristen: happy birthday to Layne, she's gotten less Layme! She's fi-na-lly fourteen, and we can put her to blameeeeeee!
